One Direction Fans Threaten to "Mutilate" GQ Editors Over September Cover

Twitter

The British edition of GQ magazine released teaser cover photos on Monday for their September issue featuring the popular boy band One Direction. Each member had their own cover showcasing an edgier look and some provocative quotes from the feature story suggesting that the boys talked about sex, fame, and how they hope to be remembered.

You'd think this would be a cool insight into the band for their fans, but the teaser quotes on the covers made "Directioners," as their fans are called, take to social media to share their "disapproval," to put it mildly.

"I'm gonna sell your children" was one of the more "subtle" tweets sent to GQ by One Direction fans this week.

But the thing is... they were tweeting to the wrong magazine Twitter handle.
