Modern-Day Michelangelo Replicates Sistine Chapel in his Hometown

Even his family called him crazy, but Miguel Macias, a retired graphic designer in Mexico City, had an idea back in 2001. He would replicate Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel in his own neighborhood church.

With no money or staff, Don Miguel, 68, has been working for 12 years to accomplish what Michelangelo did in four (with the help of assistants.) As encouragement, Don Miguel wrote on a curtain, "Don't give up Miguelito", and he says, he won't. He still has five more years to go.
