TRUMP TOWER, NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES - 2016/11/09: Various protests gathered in and around Manhattan and eventually marched through the streets, wending their way to Trump Tower. Groups including Black Lives Matter, Socialist Alternative and Pussy Grabs Back converged with thousands of disgruntled citizens, chanting"Not My President" and "Fuck Donald Trump."  Throughout the march, the NYPD threatened to arrest the protestors who blocked traffic, marched into a few businesses and defied police orders to return to the sidewalk. All the varying marches converged near 42nd Street and Broadway and then, after making their way to 5th Avenue, protested in front of Trump Tower. Hundreds of police lined the street and set barricades. A dozens sanitation vehicles also line the street, blocking any access to the building. Almost half of US internet users say they have been a victim of online harassment or abuse ranging from name-calling to stalking to physical threats, a survey showed November 21, 2016. Women, the under-30s, and people identifying as lesbian, gay, or bisexual were all more likely to experience such harassment -- and were also more likely to self-censor what they post online as a result, researchers found.More than a third (36 percent) had suffered "direct harassment," including being called offensive names, threatened physically or stalked.
