CrossFit, founded in 2000, is an exercise program that combines aerobic exercise, gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting. Hundreds of CrossFit athletes (and groupies) meet annually at the CrossFit Games, where male and female athletes compete to be named “The Fittest on Earth.”
