Mexican news outlet Televisa aired a video on Monday allegedly shot from GoPro cameras worn by Mexican marines involved in the operation that lead to the recapture of fugitive drug lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.
The video, which was edited by Mexican officials, appears to show 15 minutes of the so-called operation “Black Swan” raid on a house in the city of Los Mochis on Friday where Guzmán was originally hiding. Mexican officials say he eluded the marines by escaping with an accomplice through the city’s sewage system before eventually being captured at a highway and taken to a nearby motel.
At least five suspects were killed in the raid on the house on Friday and one Mexican marine was injured. Warning, the video is graphic.
