Donald Trump’s ever-embattled campaign manager Kellyanne Conway—who says that she often has to appear on cable TV to get her boss to listen to her—was questioned about a Trump supporter who was spotted wearing a “Hillary for Prison” t-shirt and chanting “Jew-S-A” at members of the media at a recent Trump rally during an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday.

Tapper asked Conway if she would agree that the man’s conduct was “deplorable,” a term used by Hillary Clinton to describe “half” of Trump’s followers during a speech last month. “Yes, I would,” Conway said. “His conduct is completely unacceptable. It does not reflect our campaign or our candidate.”

Conway took issue with Tapper’s description of “a lot” of Trump supporters as anti-Semitic, racist, and misogynist, which echoed Clinton’s criticism. “I hope you’ve been to Trump rallies… You just suggested that we’re filled with all these ‘-isms’ and I think that’s incredibly unfair,” she said, before pivoting to “lots of shady people” that “Hillary Clinton surrounds herself with.”
