White supremacists are cooking up crazy, racist schemes to stop black people from voting

via the Daily Stormer

The militant white supremacists behind some of the most racist corners of the internet are planning efforts to intimidate black voters across the country, Politico reported on Wednesday.

Organizers told the site that they plan to hand out alcohol and drugs in the “ghettos” in Philadelphia—a scheme that a racist would presumably think could lure black people away from voting—and boasted that they’ve already set up hidden cameras at polling places.

Factions of the Ku Klux Klan, the National Socialist Movement, and the white supremacist American Freedom Party are all reportedly sending supporters to monitor the polls either informally or, as one person told Politico, “through the Trump campaign.”

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a Fusion request for comment, but Donald Trump has frequently railed against the “rigged” electoral system and launched his own poll watching effort. Most recently, Trump ramped the rhetoric up, telling his largely white crowds to travel to other neighborhoods to “watch” on Election day, noting how critical it is to keep a close watch on “certain areas” of major cities. In a Bloomberg story last week, a senior Trump staffer bragged about the campaign’s “voter suppression” efforts to discourage African Americans, young women, and white liberals from voting.

Now, the white supremacists who are have rallied around the billionaire real estate mogul since the beginning are answering his call.

Andrew Anglin, a Neo-Nazi leader who publishes the white supremacist blog The Daily Stormer, told Politico his site has already led a voter registration drive and plans to mobilize “an army of Alt-Right nationalists to watch the polls.” On Wednesday morning, no mention of a voter registration drive could be found on the site.

Anglin, who did not respond to a Fusion request for comment, also said the Stormer is working in tandem with TheRightStuff.biz, another online hub for white nationalists.

An anonymous representative for RightStuff told Politico that people would be “going into the ghettos in Philly with 40s and weed to give out to the local residents, which we think will lead to more of them staying home.”
