End of the road

Let’s look back at 8 years of Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s beautiful bromance

We’re nearing the end of Barack Obama’s presidency, and as hard as it’s going to be to say goodbye—particularly because we’re saying hello to a gaggle of bigots—it’s probably going to be even harder to say goodbye to America’s ultimate power couple. Two people who forged a relationship full of love, mutual respect, understanding, and affection that has given us life for the past eight years. No, I’m not talking about Barack and the amazing FLOTUS Michelle though. I’m talking about Barack and Joe. Yes, the BFFs.

The two had yet another beautiful moment together on Tuesday night, during Obama’s farewell address.

Back in November, a bunch of Obama-Biden memes quickly spread featuring various images of the two captioned with an absurd and hilarious imaginary conversation between them. So in honor of our soon to be former POTUS and VPOTUS, here’s a collection of images (and memes) celebrating the two of them.

Oh, but play this first (Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” also works):

OK let’s go.

President Barack Obama is the man in the middle as his vice president weighs challenging his former secretary of state for the 2016 Democratic nomination. While Obama would officially stay neutral in a Biden-Clinton face-off, the contest would essentially be a fight over which of his closest advisers is the rightful heir to his legacy.
