This $2 Million Robot Named Thor Could Save You

If there’s one area of technology we can bet will play an increasingly important role in our lives, it’s robotics. From building the car you drive today, to 3D printing the house of your future, robots are changing the way we live and create in the modern world.

DNA’s correspondent Johanna Usma checked out DARPA’s Robotic Challenge Trials held recently in Homestead, Florida to see some of the most innovative machines out there. These robots in particular are specifically designed for disaster response.

Check out what they showed off — everything from super-speed creations to a life-size creation called Thor.
