We are 20 months away from election day and folks have already started pitting likely Democratic front-runner against Hillary Clinton against one specific Republican candidate.
Nope, it’s not Jeb Bush, whose nomination who would bring us Clinton/Bush: the Sequel. No, it’s not Chris Christie, whose nomination would ensure a Billy Joel/Bon Jovi battle round of “The Voice.” And no, it’s not Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, or Rand Paul.
None of these politicians are being touted by the New York Times as the Republican foil to Hillary Clinton. That honor goes to the person who placed 13 out of 14 possible candidates, scoring lower than “no one” and “no opinion.”
