'El Chapo' Doc Filmmakers Argue U.S. Is Unnamed Culprit in Drug War

What has changed in the last month since Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was arrested? Nothing, according to Angus MacQueen, who along with Guillermo Galdos, directed the documentary “The Legend of Shorty.” The film, which premiered at the 2014 South by Southwest Film festival, delves deeper into the myth behind the notorious former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel. Fusion sat down with MacQueen and producer Simon Chinn to discuss the importance of El Chapo’s myth, and what culpability, if any the United States has when it comes to the Drug War.
