Celebrity chef Tom Colicchio says bad policies are at the root of America's hunger problem

Tom Colicchio is best known as a judge on Bravo’s Top Chef, but he’s also become one of the most recognized faces in America’s fight against hunger. As an activist in the food community, Colicchio helped found an organization that creates transparency about how elected officials vote on issues related to food and farming. In 2012, the chef also executive produced a documentary about the issues causing hunger in this country and why so many people lack nutrition.

Colicchio tells Fusion’s Jorge Ramos it’s bad policies—and not necessarily a lack of food—that’s at the root of America’s hunger problem.
