Filmmaker Taps Imaginative 6-Year-Old for Story; Outcome Is Magical

AM Tonight’s celebration of women in movies continues with a profile of up-and-coming filmmaker Bianca Giaever. She’s barely 24 years old and she’s already earned widespread critical acclaim for her short film “the Scared is Scared,” a charming visual story driven by the imagination of 6-year-old Asa Baker-Rouse.

Giaever’s background in radio production and unconventional approach to story selection will no doubt take her far in the industry. We’re excited to see where this talented filmmaker goes.
