Sarah McBride did her first stint as a campaign volunteer when she was 10 years old. At 25, she’s already been married and widowed and spends her time fighting for the most “fundamentally American” principle there is: making sure that “no matter who you are or who you love, you are judged on your merits and your skills, not on your identity.” Sarah is campaigns and communications manager for LGBT progress at the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
