What the latest UNC sexual assault case says about rape culture on campus

According to a survey of twenty seven universities by the Association of American Universities, one in five females were the victims of sexual assault of misconduct. A University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill sophomore says the bravery of the sexual assault survivor in the high profile Stanford rape case, gave her the strength to come forward with her own story. In that case, the accuser Brock Turner, was sentenced to six months in prison but only served three. Delaney Robinson says she was raped by a football player on campus. It’s been seven months since the incident and according to Robinson there’s plenty of evidence but her alleged rapist is still attending school and playing on the team.
