Vetoed Arizona Bill Seen Through: Drag Queen, Waitress and Congressman

Arizona is an interesting place for journalist. Not only do they have Sheriff Joe Arpaio and approved an anti-immigrant law, now they decided to pick a fight with the LGBT community. Their politicians proposed a bill that would have allowed companies to discriminate against gay people for reasons that fall into the “religious” category.

However, Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed the bill. For a while it sounded like fiction. So we sent our team to Arizona to find out what’s really going on. Fusion’s Dan Lieberman spoke State Rep. Demion Clinco, the only openly gay member of the Arizona House of Representatives.
