Fusion's Jorge Ramos on what he learned covering the 2016 race

Watch: Fusion's Jorge Ramos questions Trump on immigration after getting kicked out of his press conference

Fusion’s Jorge Ramos was in Dubuque, Iowa on Tuesday night for Donald Trump’s press conference, but was escorted out of the room after Trump refused to answer his question, perceiving it to be out of turn.

“Excuse me, sit down. You weren’t called. Sit down,” Trump told Ramos.

Later in the evening, Ramos returned, and pressed the Republican presidential candidate on specifics on his immigration plan. For about five minutes the two squared off on immigration, the Latino vote, and more.

“How are you going to deport 11 million?” Ramos asked, referring to undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. “By plane? By bus? Are you going to bring the army?”

“We’re going to do it in a very humane fashion, believe me,” Trump said. “I have a bigger heart than you do.”

Trump followed up with a discussion about how illegal immigrants are part of violent gangs in cities around the country like Baltimore, Chicago, and Ferguson, and that his plan for deportation will start with those “real bad ones.”

He also said that he wants “the good people” to come back legally to the country for documentation, after deportation.

Ramos once again pressed Trump for details: “But how are you going to do it? Because you’re not giving specifics, that’s the problem, Mr. Trump.”

“I’ve given you specifics. Great management, and they’re gonna hopefully come back in very soon.”

After a short break, Ramos was called on a second time. He mentioned Trump’s drop in the polls among Latinos and asked him how he was planning on winning the Latino vote.

“Because I’m going to bring jobs back,” Trump said.

Ramos responded: “Nationwide, 75% of Latinos have a negative opinion of you.”

“Do you know how many Latinos work for me? Do you know how many Hispanics are working for me? They love me, they love me.” Trump replied. “Here’s what happens, once I win, you’re going to see things happen.”
